Recent studies have explored the efficacy of pulsed vaporization techniques for eliminating finish layers and oxide formation on different metal surfaces. Our comparative study mainly compares nanosecond laser ablation with longer pulse methods regarding layer cleansing efficiency, material finish, and heat effect. Early results suggest that picose
